It is a pleasure to welcome you to the web site of the Austral-Asian Arts Theater Dance (AATD) Incorporated.

AATD is the stand alone dance teacher certifying organization for those requiring National Dance Teacher Council clearance for the Republic of Philippines Games and Amusement Board (GAB) Permit to work within the profession as a dance teacher, dance coach, dance trainor, adjudicator and/or scrutineer, no matter the style/discipline of dance.

Therefore, it is the responsibility of AATD to protect the reputation of the profession with honor and integrity to maintain the high standards of our profession based quality assurance certification through examination processes.

AATD is one of the most progressive organizations in the world of dance today, professionalizing through codifying the techniques within the arts of theater and dance while attracting a growing number of country member associations looking for a positive modern approach to the dance teaching business.

AATD provides service to the Dance Studio Business like no other organization. AATD offers high quality Dance Teacher Degree Certification Membership through examination to internationally recognized minimum standards.

AATD Dance Studio Business Plan includes affordable Medal Examination for AATD Member students with high quality Award presentations on completion of examinations.

AATD conducts local and International dance tournaments to assist AATD Members in providing additional opportunities for establishing aims and goals for the students to further develop skills and quality performance in an affordable setting.

AATD conducts an annual Showcase for Gold and higher students to show off their prowess in performance and the quality of their teacher’s perseverance.

AATD conducts an annual Summer congress with participation of internationally renowned leaders within the profession of dance to uplift the knowledges and experiences of the local profession.

AATD has introduced an "On - Line" Educational Training Program for its members. The program covers Coaching Clinics in selected dance styles as well as Adjudicating Principles and Computerized Scrutineering for the tabulation of adjudicators markings in competition. This service is available to members only.

The Republic of the Philippines Department of Education (DepEd) has confirmed that PPDSA will assist DepEd Rgn III manage the April 9, 2010 Palarong Pambansa Dance Sport Demonstration to be held at Bulawagan, Tarlac Municipality.

The Palarong Pambansa (National Games) for Dance Sport will be April 9, 2010 in Bulwagan, Tarlac. (Palaro is regarded as a laboratory of all acquired knowledge, skills, and attitude from the Physical Education curriculum, a prerequisite in Philippine education. It also serves as a means to promote sports education, health, and peace).

The Palarong Pambansa Dance Sport Demonstration will be conducted under the Rules and Regulations of the National Dance Teachers Council (NDTC).

The PPDSA-AATD have set the syllabus, will provide all technical input and use only PPDSA-AATD licensed Officials recognized by NDTC to conduct the Palarong event.

The Republic of Philippine Department of Education selects Representatives from 17 Regions in Juvenile, Junior and Youth Age Divisions covering elementary and high school of the public and private education systems from local school intramurals, followed by the district, division, and regional athletic meets.
